About this terminal

Rheinhausen is the network's inland hinge: barges from Rotterdam and Antwerp discharge here for onward distribution into the Rhine-Ruhr region. Fourteen pipeline connections serve neighbouring chemical plants directly, removing road tanker movements from the regional network.
